Who is malatovi ?

The company malatovi is a business support service provider, created by Roland Schaller in 2020, and is positioned as a "business accelerator".

Roland has sales and marketing expertise in the fields of activity of high technology, based on:

-         A German university level master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, majored in Telecommunications

-         A French business school master’s degree in Management, Marketing major

-         A 26-year experience in the high technology sectors, including 17 in sales and marketing, and more than 15 in management positions

-         An employment in a half-dozen American and European structures

Why a "sales accelerator"?

Nowadays in technology business, the horizon is uncertain, the development of new markets, new business areas and new customer acquisition require investment in commercial resources which economic viability is unknown.

On the other hand, certain specific sales and marketing tasks requiring little time do not justify the employment of own full-time staff. A start-up business not always has the financial resources for a dedicated senior sales manager.

How is malatovi paid?

In general, prices of services will be tailored to the customer and determined based on the value provided by malatovi.

Generated expenses will be charged by malatovi on a separate line of the invoice, alternatively the contracting company can reimburse business expenses through its own expense management procedure.

Several compensation models are available:

-         Time-based billing:

o   Daily: for a short-term contract

o   Monthly: for long-term contract, which can be part-time

o   For time-based billing, a detailed time record will be provided to the customer

-         Project-based billing: Following the analysis of the planned project, an estimate will be established and a payment schedule will be agreed based on project milestones.

-         Participation in results of the contract: a commission is common in the sales function, a profit sharing can be agreed, proportional to the amount of revenue generated by the mission.

-         Participation in the capital of the company: in some cases, for example for a start-up that does not yet have significant resources, shares of the company may be granted to malatovi.
